Smooth Dogfish [Mustelis canis] 8/25/2019 Block Island RI Shark cruising in the shallow water of the Great Salt Pond on Block Island. The species prefers the inshore waters of the western Atlantic. Its members grow up to five feet long and are no real danger to human beings. Photo# 1058
